Any good recipes for this? I am doing this and lobster tails some time this weekend.
I need a side idea too.

Re: Filet Mignon
This is how I make mine, it's super easy and sooo good!
Dip the filet in melted butter a top with cracked peppercorn on each side. Pan sear for about a minute on each side, then put it on a baking sheet and pop it in the oven for 15-20 mins on 350. Throw some salt on them when they come out and your done!
As for a side - how about risotto?

Re: Filet Mignon
with a good piece of meat, keep it simple. rub with olive oil and cover in salt and pepper on both sides. in a very hot pan sear both sides for a few minutes until brown and crusty and then finish in the oven on 500 degrees. Prob about 6-8 min for medium rare.
and dont forget to let them rest! before and after!

Re: Filet Mignon
I preheat oven to 400
put a pat of butter on top
salt, pepper and garlic powder on top... cook covered until temp desired is almost reached...then uncover to darken up outside.
or i cut them up for shish kabobs. so freaking good.
or grind up and have the best burgers ever
