Acupuncture... Take 2

I'm not sure if anyone remembers, but I tried acupuncture a couple of months ago and didn't like it. I went once and never went back. I felt like I couldn't relax.. I wasn't comfortable with the acupuncturist.. the location.. .none of it.

Well, after getting approved for IVF, I decided to give it another try somewhere else. This was the BEST decision! I had a MUUUUUUCH better experience today and relaxed SO much that I even managed to fall asleep!! I never thought this would be possible for me last time. I also really preferred the atmosphere there and felt comfortable instantly- which is not how I felt at the last place.

Basically moral of the story is..... if you aren't so fond of acupuncture the first time around, it could definitely be the place! Also.. I know I only had one experience there so far, but still.. big raves for Andrew Kaplan in RVC!

Agreed! He is wonderful! I have been going once a week and have just made it part of my weekly routine. So relaxing!

I always fall asleep when I see Dr. Andy. I see him every week and it is so relaxing. Im so glad you had a great experience with him.

I agree. He has been my third acupuncturist and I love him. I always would fall asleep when I went. Totally relaxing especially during IVF when I would have to wake up early to get in for morning monitoring. So glad you didn't give up on it!!!
