I have gnocci and red sauce -

What can I do with this?

Just cook the gnocci and serve it with red sauce... or can I do something a little more innovative?

Can I make it and bake it with some mozzarella on top?

What do you think? What would you make?

yes, you can bake it.. just make the gnocchi and then take the sauce, mix it together and throw mozzarella on top and put it in the oven for around 20 minutes.. YUM

its great with just red sauce and all the other suggestions are great too!!!! alot of restaurants serve it baked with mozzarella. I make a pumokin sauce that I think goes perfect with it too!
I personally love it anyway its made haha!

the gnocci was in the package - like a barilla. it came out really great. i boiled it like regular pasta - when the pop to the top they are done.

then i put them in a baking dish with some spicy marinara sauce and fresh basil, some bread crumbs, season it, and then i put some fresh mozzarella on top with some more basil -- baked it for 15 minutes and then broil for 5 to get it to be golden brown on top.

wow did it come out good!!!!! DH was thrilled - and it took like a MINUTE to do!
