Opinion...
I had an IUI done a week ago Sat...they scheduled a BETA for this upcoming Sat...would you go, or just wait and see what happens on your own. I am really tired of paying co-pays so would rather just skip it...and go when im late...what do you think?

Re: Opinion...
If you're on progesterone, you should definitely go for your beta because it can delay AF.
I go to Quest for my beta. I can go early in the morning before work, and with my insurance, I don' t have to pay a copay there, so it makes much more sense than going to Dr. B.'s office.

Re: Opinion...
I am on progesterone, but it doesn't hold off AF for me. I told them this and they said to do the beta anyway because the want to check that its not a chemical that is too low to show on a hpt.
I'm going to quest and I don't have copays with them so that part doesn't matter to me. The copays for appointments alone were

Re: Opinion...
I'm in a similar situation - I had my first round of IUI last Friday and Saturday.
This week is going to SUUUCCKKK!!!!
My LP is typically short (11 days on average) so I'd expect AF on Wednesday or Thursday.
I scheduled an appointment for Friday AM.
In theory, if I do get AF then that'll just turn into a CD 2/3 appointment instead.

I still think you should have the beta just in case, but if you really don't want to, I don't think it would be terrible to wait it out if you're not on progesterone.
