La Capannina by Island 16 - Holtsville
Has anyone been there? Is it more of a pizza place or a sit down restaurant?
We are going this weekend and just wondering what to expect.

DH and I love it. Everything we've had is delicious. Very very good, and I was getting bored w/the same chain restaurants around there.

Good - fair prices.
They had a risoto w/ asparagus & shrimp - OMG.. so good.

It's more like a pizza place atmosphere but their food is out of this world delicious and i think if you get a pasta dish they give you a salad beforehand and bread. It was restaurant service but very casual dress/atmosphere.

yes they seat you and you have a waitress but its basically in the same area as the pizza part... its a small place.
