Mom's who have to go back to work after LO: how are you dealing with this?
I can't deal with it. I always wanted to be a SAHM, but it seems as if what me and DH want in our lives, it is impossible for me to do that. I've known that for a while now, I just can't get over and deal with it. I'm crushed.
How is everyone dealing with it?

It s u c k s. There's nothing else you can say about it. I'll have off for six weeks and then I'll go back. Lucky for me though, I'm a teacher and my mom is going to be watching so it makes it just a bit easier. I figure I'm working to be able to give her a nice life. Plus it'll make time we do get to spend together that much more valuable!

Re: Mom's who have to go back to work after LO: how are you dealing with this?
i havent thought about it yet, so therefore im not dealing with it yet!
it honestly kills me! growing up my mom was always home and i cant even imagine someone else seeing my baby more than me! i can cry thinking about it!
my mom keeps telling me that i should just work part time at night somewhere, and i said sure, but im curious to know who is going to pay my mortgage!!
honestly it is my goal in life, i could care less about having a carear, being a SAHM is prob the one thing i want most, and also then one thing that i wont be able to do. sad...

Re: Mom's who have to go back to work after LO: how are you dealing with this?
THe first week was hard. It's not easy leaving them that young. I think I always had it in my head I knew I was going to be a FTWM. My mom worked and even went back to school to get her CPA. I always looked up to her and still do that she can juggle it all... career, mom, social life, wife, etc. My dad and her enjoy their weekends and she always took time for us. This is what I want my kids to see. SOme days are better than others. Now that he's a toddler it's great. He loves his class and teachers. They do some much activities and he comes home dancing and singing. He's only 20 months, but I see how much daycare has taught him. He's a happy, laid-back boy and I love it. I think that will make it a little less difficult with this one when I go back to work. Plus, the baby's brother is there too.
