Knife sharpener
Does anyone have an electric knife sharpener like this? If so, which do you have and do you like it? My knife block came with one of those handheld ones and it's not doing the job for me.

I have had bad experiences with the electric sharpeners, I don't think I am doing it right. So we bought a sharpening stone, and love it. I sharpen the knives under running water and with 2-3 swipes we are good to go. We ordered one off of Amazon.

I have the knife sharpener you posted and I love it. DH does the majority of the cutting and knife sharpening in our house, but I have used it and it's great. Very simple to use. We've even sharpened old, dull knives for my parents and they came out pretty much good as new.
FYI - Kohls sells this knife sharpener online, so if you can snag a code for 30% you can get it at a great price.

You are talking about 2 different things - I think.
Your knife block probably came with a honing tool and this is a sharpener.
