Can I freeze this?
I had a frozen chuck roast. Defrosted it and made pot roast in the crockpot with it. I have a healthy serving leftover. Can I freeze it and if so, does pot roast freeze well? TIA!
ETA- It's basically just the meat, onions and gravy- no other veggies.

You definitely can freeze it. I've never frozen pot roast before, so I can't comment on how well it will freeze, but you can do it.

I'm pretty sure you can. I think they tell you not to re-freeze if you DIDN'T cook it.

I'm not sure... I always thought that once it was frozen and thawed, you shouldn't re-freeze.

Only if you hadn't cooked it, if it was still raw. Once it's cooked, it's good to freeze.

I believe the refreezing could cause a little loss of flavor - but generally, freezing anything would do this. It should be totally fine and it is safe to do.
I would probably try to eat it relatively soon - i.e. in the next few weeks as opposed to a month or something.
