Dream Dinners - anyone try this?

So, in another night of insomnia I was watching the infomercial for Dream Dinners - where you pick some dinners, go to a place and assemble them, come home and you can freeze them/keep them in the fridge.

THere is a place in East Northport. Some of the entrees look good, and it seems a little pricey but I guess it balances out with having to cook, etc.

Has anyone tried this? How is the food? Do you think it's worth it?

I've been going to Dream Dinners for about a year & half - LOVE it. It's made my life so much easier - and my family happier. The East Northport location actually advertises on LIF. There is a code for 10% off your first order. Betsy & Mindy are the owners & the nicest people ever.

LIF had a contest a few months back. I was one of the many winners that got to go and assemble one dish.

It was a lot of fun because of all the people from here that I was chatting with.

The dish was VERY easy to prepare.

The people there helping were VERY friendly and helpful.

The food was good. I can cook, so I can prepare stuff just like it.

If I was working, I could see it being a major time saver. Since I'm not working, I don't see it as a benefit.

Thanks! I signed up for an evening with the TV promo on the website. Right now, with DH recovering from a surgery, taking care of him, the house, the dogs, this will make life a little easier, and it will give me a chance to get out of the house!
