DIY Infant Photos
Anyone plan on taking their own artsy type of infant pics when their LO gets here...I love the pics, but Im not sure if I want to spend the $$ for pro pics.
Also,my dad is an artist (not a photographer), and has a great eye for pics, and a pretty awesome camera, and he said he would help.
Am I being too ambitious??

Re: DIY Infant Photos
I am going to do it myself, I am sure they will not look professional, but home made by mommy can be just as good.

Re: DIY Infant Photos
We'll be doing out own. DH went to photography school so I'm pretty confident in our skills together. We won't do anything elaborate.

Re: DIY Infant Photos
im into photography and have done a few shoots for my friends... i will say if you have ANY opportunity for a professional shoot, do it. its NOT the same doing it yourself. the lighting, editing and posing is MUCH more difficult than it appears. i figure with my own kid it will be better cause i wont be shy about moving around for pics... but still especially with a nice camera, the lighting is soooo super important.

Re: DIY Infant Photos
Idk if it counts a diy but DH is a pro photographer so we will be doing maternity and infant photos ourselves. I'm still in the process of scoping out diff ideas and cutsie hats :)
