Question about clothes...
Im due mid-May and am having trouble figuring out what i will need clothing wise before and after i give birth....
right now all my maternity stuff is winter (long sleeves/sweaters & pants).... but since i'll still be prego in April and beg of May im thinking i will need some short sleeve tops. Will i need capris that time of year? Or does it not get that warm? Im having brain trouble today
And post baby - do you normally still wear maternity? Or do you just wear bigger size regular clothes? I dont think my prebaby stuff will fit so i'll have to buy stuff - if i wear maternity i still have to buy b/c then it will be mid-may and june weather. But not sure what sizes to buy
Also what do you wear in the hospital post baby? Since i plan to BF i guess i would buy some short sleeve nursing tops? And maybe a nursing gown or pj for night?
Am I the only one this confused about clothing

Re: Question about clothes...
I am due mid may and am assuming that i will need a few short sleeve tops but will not be investing in capris or anything like that.
I am hoping that post baby I can live in yoga pants and nursing tank tops...
My plan is to just see how it goes and if i need to buy something I will...

Re: Question about clothes...
DS was born in May. I did have a lot of Spring/Summer maternity clothes b/c we go to Aruba in Feb. I borrowed stuff from friends and bought. Best thing I did was get a bunch of maternity tanks and then open tops to wear. Worked great. Heavier tops when it was cold and got some light ones too. THey don't even need to be maternity since they are open and go over your shoulders. At the hospital I had a c-section. First day in their gown. After a shower I had hospital type pants, tank and a robe. I wore a velour sweatsuit home.
I wore a lot of cute sweat outfits with tanks the first week or so. I do love maternity capris so still wore them a little after giving birth and I wore some pants that were lose or bigger. Most of my shorts were elastic shorts or capri's I wore during the summer and then I had to go shopping b/c I was sick of my clothes. Was back in PP clothes by July/Aug, but still loves the more comfy bottoms anyway

Re: Question about clothes...
after my pregnancy i could fit in my yoga pants and other work out pants. i still wore my maternity jeans
I would invest in a short sleeve nursing top or too - i was always cold when i nursed so have a sweat shirt or cardigan handy too - nursing tank tops are great for layering
i was able to scrounge around my closet pretty good - v-neck tops work great for a nursing mom - especially stretchy ones
i got a nursing pajama set for the hospital that was a night gown and robe- i wore that to sleep for awhile till i had to pump at night and needed my nursign bra to be hands free
don't buy too much because you don't your boobs will be the same size - i bought 2 nursing bras before and i sent my mom to get me more when i knew i could nurse and my size was the same

Unfortunatley my size (38G) is not common that i dont know if any stores carry nursing bras that size - i usually order all my bras online. I guess i will order my size and a size up - hopefully something will fit
