Pain after IUI...

I had my 3rd IUI today. After the IUI, I had severe cramping. I had slight cramps the past 2 months, but nothing like today.

Could it be because I had more follicles this month? Right now, my ovaries are sore & my belly is really bloated.

Has anybody experienced anything like this?

I never had *severe* cramping .. but I def noticed more follies = more cramping + A LOT of bloating!! Last cycle it was horrible!!

Did you trigger? I had cramps the day before and after my 2nd IUI and read that it was from the trigger. I also had cramps before my sono on one side and the Dr. said it was from the 40mm follie I had. I guess several 20mm follies can do the same thing.

i always have some mild cramping, like dull period cramps.

sometimes i also end up with what i like to call an angry cervix when she's mad that they shoved a catheter up there; it gets sore and i can feel the soreness when i walk, cough, laugh, etc.

The last IUI I went through I had some moderate cramping for about 3 days after the procedure. Also, tons of bloating. I had more follicles then ever before, so I believe that was the cause of my cramping.

I had my 1st IUI this morning and I definitely have severe cramping. I called the dr & they said it was normal and that I could take tylenol - took it about 30 mins ago and I am waiting for it to kick in.
