Re: Homemade Alfredo Sauce?
Quick and easy:
-1/4 cup butter -1 cup heavy cream -1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese -pinch black pepper
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes, then add cheese and whisk quickly, heating through. Add black pepper

Re: Homemade Alfredo Sauce?
Try this........I found it when I started WW, and it's delicious
Laughing Cow Alfredo Sauce Serving Size : 4
1 cup skim milk 1 Tbsp light margarine 6 wedges Laughing Cow cheese (I use the garlic and herb) 1 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese 1 Pinch garlic powder
In a medium-sized saucepan, combine all the ingredients until everything is melted and the sauce is velvety smooth, about 20 minutes. Serve immediately.

Re: Homemade Alfredo Sauce?
i've heard the WW recipe is awesome!
the one i've used and didn't separate AND the family loved was the one using philly brand cream cheese... few ingredients and really fast!
it's going to be my go-to alfredo sauce from now on, especially since i have a freezer full of cream cheese... got a lot of it for free at christmas time
