Moms of girls how do you.............

Not go broke with all the cute clothes out there for girls. I swear, everytime I go into a store--I see a cute little dress (especially summertime). So I told my DH that he is lucky that we have a son otherwise he would be working a nightshift!!!

tell me about it! She has soooo many things now that she hasn't even worn b/c she grew out of them before we could use them! Most of her stuff were presents, but I have bought her a ton of barrettes and fancy dresses.

Thank God I am in all my pre-pg clothes....all my money has been spent on her!

Its very hard not to buy her a million things, especially since I had a boy first and boy clothes are so hard to find! I got a lot of great hand-me-downs, so she is set for some time! Self-control I tell ya isn't easy!

try having 2. not easy!!! I try to hold off. But, I always end up picking up more & more!! But, I do bargain shop. I refuse to spend to much.

Ok, I am SO surprised with myself. I thought I'd be buying out all the cute clothes in the stores, but honestly, I am so not into shopping for her. Isn't that weird? Maybe because I know I have so many outfits people gave us as gifts? Who knows. I'm a major shopper, too, so go figure. Maybe when she's out of newborn size I'll start buying more. I'm a little disappointed with myself

I think I was like that more when she was a newborn but since she has a cousin that's a year older, she still gets cute clothes from her.

I just can't spend money like that on something that won't fit her in a few months.

You start to realize they can only wear so many outfits before the season changes or they grow out of it. So I start shopping sales and stocking up for next year.

Now that she is a little older (2) there are things she refuses to wear so I am a lttle more limited. I buy what she needs and then I splurge on a few things I can't resist. It's not easy but I have learned after 2 years that she just can't wear everything.

I am such a shopper (well, was pre-baby) and strangely enough I haven't bought her a single outfit since bringing her home. We've gotten so many outfits as gifts I can't imagine she'll be needing any for a good while. Although, everyone has bought her summer outfits so clearly we'll have to start buying her stuff in a month or so.

I don't , I have very little self discipline when it comes to shopping for my little angel. However, I did make a mall run yesterday and bought NOTHING for her. I had to have a pep-talk with myself befor entering the mall though... . I did however manage to buy my soon-to-be-niece about 10 outfits...

I haven't had to buy her one thing yet...people are still giving me clothes left and right.

I have no idea....just stay out of the stores? I love all the cute girl stuff but I just force myself not to buy more...sometimes anyway. The things that are too adorable AND priced right are too hard to resist for me.

I am so bad with over buying clothing for my DD. THe real bad part is that she is the first girl in both families and among all of my friends so the gifts keep coming. The sad part is i have so many outfits still with tags on them that don't fit or are out of season.
