Is $168 INSANE to pay for a bathingsuit?

I LOVE this suit. It's convertible, so you can wear it a ton of different ways....

I love the around the 'around the neck' look

My justification is that I only buy bathing suits every few years...and usually then they're cheap and from target...............?

What do you think?

It could be Gottex and those are pricey but most importantly if you love it and it fits you, go for it.

I dont think Icould spend that much on a bathing suit...however I can see why you love it so much.

No I spent a lot on a cple sexy one pieces. From Vix (you might want to look there also ) but I knew I would get good use out of them and one pieces are so hard to find sexy!

Yes, it is! I personally would never spend that much, especially because it will most likely be on sale one day... but that's me of course...

It depends, I have a very hard time finding a bathing suit that I like that flatters me, I would probably pay that....

Not at all - half the time the ones that aren't even that nice are almost that much money! So, if you love it definitely get it!

that suit will definitely give you a heck of a tan line- that would be the only reason i wouldnt buy it

i dont know about this suit in particular, but VS bathing suits go on sale so you might want to wait.

If you love it or think you will, go for it.

For me, great swimsuits and denim are a pain to shop for and I will gladly pay any amount if I find something that fits me perfect.

for me, thats way too much money to spend on a bathing suit. i could not justify spending that much on a bathing suit even tho it could be worn a couple different ways. for that much money i could buy probably 5 different suits from target, lol.
Buuuuuuuuut, if u love it and it fits amazing, then go for it.

Honestly.. That is something that would last for years, so I would consider the price completely justified!

And that is coming from someone who hates spending a ton of $$ of swimsuits.

When I was skinny, I would buy $5 bikinis from the flea market.

Now, I NEED expensive bathing suits to hold everything in and UP so I WOULD spend that much. And, I may actually buy that one - I LOVE IT!!!

i have a hard time finding bathing suits that fit well so when I do I am willing to spend a lot. I would go for it!

If you like it, buy it. When it comes in try it on and see how you like how you look in it. If it looks AWESOME then its totally worth the $168. Who knows you may get it and not like the style or fit on ya. I think its worth the shot

If you love it and love the way you feel in it, then I think it is worth it.

I spent $158 on a 2 piece that I pray will fit me this summer since I bought it while I was pregnant and needed it for a trip. It made me feel like a million buck and my DH LOVED it on me.

yes that is a lot to spend on a suit.

eta- i buy my suits from loehmanns and marshalls and tj maxx. the most i spend would be $40 ...so knowing that i can get really nice brands for that price, i just cant think of spending that money on a VS bathingsuit...especially since you cant try it on

since I buy my bathing suits at Target, I would say yes $168 is insane. But if you really love it, then get it!
