baby shower locations
Hi ladies do you know of any affordable shower locations in Queens (bayside, whitestone, forest hills, astoria) or in great neck/ little neck area. The shower will be for about 35-45 people so a restaurant with a private room would be great! Any suggestions would be great - thanks!

Re: baby shower locations
Verdis and Giardinos are nice, but a little pricey.
I threw a party at the White House last year - they have a big downstairs room, and it is VERY affordable. I can't say the food was great, but it was good, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it.
Also, the old cafe on the green - i think it is now called valentinos on the green. I know the old place was quite pricey for a shower, but not sure about the new one.
This is outside of the area, but I am considering Pio Pio on Northern Blvd for my shower - their food is awesome, and it is very affordable.
Good luck!

The White House in Whitestone
Offically closed. The old owners of Cafe on the Green bought and are going to be starting renovations soon.
Also Donovan's service is eh,place is beautiful but I had a shower there and was not impressed for the price honestly,

I think since they moved across the steet they do. I am going to look into it. I am a little concerned about the service there, but the food is great, and it is something different than people are used to.

Wow! Well, that is kind of good I guess - the place needed some work.

Yeah, it had been for sale for a long time and they really let it go down hill. When I was a kid we had many family parties there and it was so nice then!
