Smoothies - can you freeze these?

I have frozen fruit and wanted to make smoothie with yogurt, I already opened it and made a lot, bu tthere's no way I can finish.

as long as it's a closed container, i think the smoothies should be fine...

I make my own smoothies and have tried freezing them, and they turn into a rock. You have to let them thaw a bit before you can drink it.

I dont like them froze and re thawed. I always drink it right after its made. tastes best that way IMO. DD and I LOVE smoothies. we make them for breakfast often.
