i am going to post later - just got into work - i am fine but my experience at winthrop was anything but pleasant which i am going to post about
long story short right now - i walked out of the er before all my tests were done because i had had enough!!!

Oh no, that stinks! There was a lot of run around at LIJ when I had to go there too. Hope this isn't a sign of how labor and delivery will really be!

wow what a bummer! sorry you had a bad experience. . I do know from other situations that ERs are a TOTALLY different ball game from labor and delivery but I could totally see why it would give you pause! Still - glad you're okay!!

I'm so glad you are ok, but I have to tell you. Winthrop ER is absolutely awful, but L&D is fabulous. They are run very very differently. I've had experience in both sides as a patient and did some of my training there when I was in school still. The nurses and staff in L&D and Maternity are wonderful. Very Very Very different from the ER. I hate the ER there but wouldn't deliver anywhere else. Hope this makes you feel a little better about everything and I hope you feel better.
