Should I be concerned

Today when I went to get Carlie her teacher informed me she didn't want her last bottle. She told me she was fine all day, a little gassy, but just had no interest in her last bottle and cried when they tried to give it to her. She ate her dinner at the normal time. Should I be concerned? Can it be teething?

Sounds like teething to me! I ALWAYS know when a tooth is about to come out because Alex gets a little cranky and eats much less than usual...

Check her mouth, hands & feet for tiny blisters. It's coxsackie season. Also while drooling is a sign of teething, it's also a good coxsackie indicator in infants.

Just so you know - there is really nothing you can do for coxsackie except keep them hydrated (count diapers if you're concerned). For toddlers, they suggest ice pops for the cold. You can try giving her pedialyte or a cold bottle of formula & see if that works. Picture a blister & what you'd want on it. Not hot, cold.

I hope it's not it but it's very contagious. In adults, it's general malaise, cr@ppy feeling.
