When do Braxton Hicks start? Edited with another Q
I never had them with DS and I am curious if 25w is to early to have braxton hicks?
Do Braxton Hicks feel the same as real labor contractions?

Re: When do BH start?
Never had them with DS. And so far (28 weeks yesterday) haven't had any that I know of this time.
But I think they can start at any point.

I n ever had them with DS. With this one I had a bad episode on Christmas eve, I think I was almost 23 weeks at the time!

I had them from about 28 weeks on. Sometimes for hours, around 33-34 weeks! Totally different than labor pain. Awkward more than painful. Your whole tummy gets tight and kinda moves up a bit. You feel it more on top of your belly and never around the back, to my knowledge (I'm no doctor though). Some people never get them.

See thats what I thought. My MIL said it feels the same. I am having pains like contraction cramps not tightening in my stomach.

I had what you are explaining yesterday.. I am due around the same time as you... I called the dr.. he told me to drink lots of water and to relax, especially laying on my left side.. and after about 2 hours, it completely was gone...
today I had none.. he said they could be preterm labor contractions and if they got more frequent and painful to go to L&D... I wanted to keep away from that...
good luck! Hope you feel better!

I felt like I was getting them a lot at 31 weeks and mentioned it to my dr. She told me I need to be drinking A LOT of water. I do notice now, the more water I drink the less of them I have. I would try doing that.
