Re: Oinments, creams, etc...

I personally love the aveeno baby products for bathtime. I use the baby wash (it's also baby shampoo, tear free). The best diaper rash product we got is what our pediatrician recommended -- A&D ointment. It kinda looks like vasaline, not a white product like desitin. It's been great so far.

I am personally allergic to aloe so I had to be picky about lotions and products (not to mention wipes!).

I also recommend stocking up on hand sanitizer. I have it in my diaper basket to use when I change her diaper in the middle of a feeding.

I really like the Johnson & Johnson body wipes too (they're great for when she just spits up a little and it gets into her neck, but we don't want to do a full bath) and also the J&J pre-moistened washcloths.

My family recommended Mustela so I registered for that. I'm not sure if I'll get it regularly since it's kinda pricy, but maybe if it's really good. California Baby was also recommended so I put it on there too.

I registered for a bunch of stuff and DS ended up with eczema from day one and I couldn't use anything scented. I had to give away everything I got and ended up with Aveeno Free wash and vaseline. DS is not 2 and we are using the same stuff and plan to do the same with #2 just to be safe. Just wanted to share so you keep in mind sensitive skin.
