Need Follistim....
Does anyone have any Follistim that they can spare? I've hit my lifetime max for meds with my insurance, and I just can't afford the $3,000.00+ right now. I had some that was donated to me already by a very generous girl and was able to start, but I won't have enough to get me through this cycle. Can anyone please help me?

Ask your RE if they have any extra or donated ones that other patients gave to them because they got prego,this worked for a friend once...
I am going to follow the follotism protocol this month if I get my AF. I have the injectables, but no pen. I am guessing when I go to my RE they will let me know what other items I need right?

Your RE will definitely let you know what you need. Did you receive the Follistim cartridges with no pen? That happened to me the 1st time I got it from Kraupners. I had to get a pen from the RE. Good luck to you!

I have a box that i'd be glad to donate to you - however i got it in April of last year and it said expired after 6 months (which was October)
It's been in my fridge since April, and when i asked my RE about it still being potent they said it should still be.
If you want it, you're welcome to it! Maybe ask your RE or pharmacist if they think its ok to take something that supposedly expired 3 months ago?
ETA: sorry, i totally messed up. I don't have follistim, i have Gonal F. If you're interested in that, feel free to FM me though!

Sorry no help, I was on Gonal. But my RE mentioned that Gonal and Follitism are relatively the same thing. I went to Freedom pharmacy and they offer a program, Fertility Assist, which works with your insurance and can cover up to $500.
I know it is a completely different answer than what you were looking for, but I thought it could be worth a shot. Good luck, I hope everything works out.

I could spare a box or two of Gonal F. I've been keeping them in my fridge just in case. But hopefully my "pay it forward" will bring me good things! ( Although it didn't last time.)
