At what dose did you begin to ovulate?

Re: girls on metformin to help with O
on 1500mg i ovulated on CD38 of my first cycle taking it.. but on my ovulatory cycles i always ovulated between CD30-40.. so i'm not sure met really did anything for me. all of my cycles after that were medicated so i dont know when natural O wouldve occurred. i did O that cycle, cause some of my cycles were completely anov, but its hard to say if it was a random occurrence or a real result of metformin, since i wasnt insulin resistant to begin with.
met isnt exactly an ovulatory miracle drug. for some it helps, for most it just helps other things surrounding insulin absorption but does not necessarily effect O timing that much. ive also been told it takes 3 months to be fully effective.
good luck!!

Re: girls on metformin to help with O
I was put on metformin to lower my testosterone levels because of PCOS, because my doctor thought that could be why I didn't O on my own.
I was also on 1500mg and didn't O until somewhere between CD 35-40, if at all. I was put on clomid to make me O sooner, and more consistent.
