This was one of my favorite restaurants. I hadn't had a chance to get there in a while, but I always loved it - good food and reasonable.

I saw it on Kitchen Nightmares last week. (Sorry if there's a thread already.) I won't get into how annoying and obnoxious I thought that dude was, because I really didn't want to post about the show, just the restaurant.

I heard someone on the show mention that the menu was "too big" and that they cut it down as part of the reopening. I just checked there website - holy shyte - it's about a third of the size it used to be.Chat Icon

I get it that there might be items that no one asks for and therefore are not worth presenting, but to cut it down that much? I also thought it was weird that it was discussed on the show as if a big menu is a bad thing. That was always part of the place's appeal, and honestly, I'm going to hesitate to go back there, because several of the items I really enjoyed are gone.

I don't love the new decor but that would never sway me either to go or not go.

Ugh, what a disappointment.
