Make the nausea stop
I can't believe it's happening this early.
WIth my first I started getting nauseous around 7 weeks.
My second around 6 weeks.
And here I am - 5 weeks and feeling nauseous. I haven't thrown up yet, but it's right there.
Looks like I'm having another boy!!!
Any new tricks to helping to get it under control? I already had a bagel and it didn't do anything!

Re: Make the nausea stop
The only thing that has ever worked for me was ICE cold cola syrup...dump some over crushed ice and sip it...I know the CVS by me has it

Re: Make the nausea stop
I didn't have any with DS.
This time I had it pretty bad from 6 weeks to 12 weeks. Found nothing that helped aside from eating smaller meals more frequently.

Re: Make the nausea stop
I was dying at work yesterday & was googling remedies.. came across this, which surprisingly really helped me. After about 5 mins, I really did feel a lot better!
Here you go:
An excellent acupressure point for relieving nausea during pregnancy is called the Inner Gate (also called the Neiguan P6 acupressure point). This specific point is on your wrist and it is easy to treat by applying pressure with your fingertip while concentrating on your breathing. To use this stress relieving technique, first locate this acupressure point on the inside of your wrist. Measure three finger widths up your arm, from the wrist line. Use your thumb to locate the point in the hollow between the two bones and in the middle of the tendons. A slight soreness will let you know you have found the right location. Press the point firmly while you breathe out, and release pressure as you breathe in, repeating eight times on each wrist.
BTW, another site said in addition to the above, you can also try pressing that point on both wrists together (tap both wrists together repeatedly) while taking deep breaths in & out.. I did that to yesterday, so not sure which helped or if it was a combo of the 2

Re: Make the nausea stop
With DS I started at 4 weeks and didnt end until 10 weeks. The only thing that helped was dum dum lollypops!
This time around I STILL get nauseous from tiem to time! I have found chewing sugarless gum helps - not minty because that makes the Heartburn bad!!!
I can't wait for the next 11 weeks to be over!

Re: Make the nausea stop
thank you all!
Seabands are interesting! I may send DH out tonight for a bunch of the things listed. I just can't take feeling like this. I would much rather throw up and feel better, then have this lingering feeling.

Re: Make the nausea stop
peanut butter and peppermint candies helped take the edge off. not together of course.
ETA: seabands helped for a couple of days, but not much.

Re: Make the nausea stop
Zofran is not a bad idea ...
Lemon and Mango worked best for me, but I was still dependent on Zofran.

Kashi makes these awesome TLC 7 Grain crackers. Those worked for me. I also used ginger ale and peppermint candies.
Feel better!

Be careful what you wish for hahaha. I said the same thing last PG and this time I threw up a lot. I forgot to wish for "I wish I'd throw up and THEN feel better."
It didn't help I still felt like garbage, if not worse. I even puked last week at 16 1/2 weeks
