Electro-Acupuncture

Any of you ladies ever try this? I hate to admit it but I don't think that there is anything that I haven't tried yet in my battle to try getting pregnant

It seems that I've responded very well to it so far. After my first failed IVF I didn't ovulate for 2 months and then on the 3rd cycle my acupuncturist recommended that I try it and 3 days after I tried it I ovulated! The same thing happend with my following cycle. Now my cycles are finally back to normal again and I just know that this is what did the trick for me. From what I have discussed with my acupuncturist it helps bring on ovulation and thicken the uterine lining.

I'm thinking of using it along with my stims now, since I'm a poor responder to meds, to help push things along. My acupuncturist said that it really helps the ovaries respond better. Any of you ladies ever tried this during stims and did you see any difference? Do you see anything wrong with doing this while taking all those meds?

Are you talking about Electric stim with acupuncture where they put the electrodes on the acu needles?

If yes, I have been doing it since July. It has always been a apart of my acu treatments. There was only 1 or 2 treatments when my Dr. didn't use it and I go 2x a week!

As far as it helping ovulation? Who knows. I did a natural cylce in hopes of transferring some embryos and I didn't ovulate until day 45.
But then my last IVF cycle, I had perfect lining. So was it the acu and stim or was it my viagra?
I tend to think it's a combination of everything. I think the acu helps a great deal with the side effects of all the medication and hormones that I pump into my body day after day. It's amazing how different I feel when I'm just on the BC pill and nothing else!

Yeah I've always had it, even during stims. My acu Dr. never said anything as to it not being beneficial.
