Re: Food on airplane?

You can bring food on the airplane just do not bring anything liquid. Once when I flew I had a small container of peanut butter and I had to throw it away so I would stick to solid things. You can bring drinks on the plane if you buy them after you pass through security.

yes you can bring your own food - but there are some exceptions for getting through security.

You can buy anything in the airport past security and bring it on - both drinks and food. The only exceptions I have heard are that sometimes they ask you to not bring peanut products.

Re: Food on airplane?

You can not bring food/drink items past security however you can purchase items once past security & then bring those onto the plane. Atleast when DH & I flew to Hawaii in April we where alloweed to.

In addition to non-liquid food, if you are traveling with your babies, you can bring formula, pumped milk, or baby food, you just have to declare it.

Medications, baby formula and food, breast milk, and juice are allowed in reasonable quantities exceeding 3.4 ounces (100ml) and are not required to be in the zip-top bag. Officers may ask travelers to open these items to conduct additional screening and passengers should declare them for inspection at the checkpoint.
