Re-grouting

Has anyone ever regrouted the tile in their bathroom? Do you have to remove the old grout or can you clean the old grout and fill in spots with new grout? I have no idea what I am talking about, we are trying to avoid replacing tilework but are clueless about what to do.

Re: Re-grouting

hello you have 2 options depending on your tile taht you have you can go to the tile store and get an acid cleanser for the grout but i beleive if you have porcelin tile that will not work but you can also go to home depot and get a grout removal tool that adapts to a cordless screwgun (that works well) good luck
