Estrogen supplements? (UPDATE)
Had CD13 monitoring today and they found 2 good sized follies, 23 & 21. The RE examining me noticed that my lining was on the thin side 6, so he wants me to come in on Monday to measure my levels and possibly start some Estorgen Supplements. Anything I should know regarding this? Side effects? Pupose?
Thanks ladies!
UPDATE: I thought I would update here as you girls gave some good info.
Got my results back and my Pog level was great , but my Estrogen was low The nurse called in my prescription and I start tonight; then 2 pills a day until pregnancy test on Monday. Fingers crossed...

Re: Estrogen supplements?
Follicle sizes of 23 & 21mm are considered mature. In my experience, my Dr never let them go over 22mm because I was told that the quality goes down significantly. And your dr wants you to wait until next Monday? I'm confused. I'm also assuming that you're on Ganirelix, right?
About adding estrogen supplements, I only know about the patches that I'm using and the only side effect I've had from them so far has been nausea during the first couple of days of use. They are used to increase you erstrogen levels, which in turn increase the thickness of your uterine lining.
Good Luck!

Sorry I forgot to mention, we did trigger today. I have to go back on Monday for blood work to check my Estrogen levels. Not on anything right now. I just finished Gonal/Femara. I am just a little surprised and worried that all of sudden they want me to come back a week before the pregnancy test to check my levels, never had to before.

That's pretty common and a good idea. They will check estrogen and progesterone. I was checked post IUI but not post IVF because I was already on the hormones.

Re: Estrogen supplements?
they warned about hot flashes and headaches, but i didn't feel anything. it only took a few days for my lining to go from 5 to 10 and then they had me stop.
