Hi Ladies Question Re: M/C and PG.

Hi Ladies- Some of you may have known, But I was on the Pg Board last week until I had a M/C. I just have a question for all you ladies who have had a M/C before... 1) How Long did you wait b4 you began trying again and 2) Was that after Natural M/C or D & C?

FYI - I was 5 weeks Pregnant no D & C was needed- Thank you for your help! Hope to join you ladies once again real soon!

I had a M/C in April. I took May off and started trying again in June. I did not have D&C either.

I had 2 MC in the past year. The first was only about a week or two, so no D&C. The second time (in January) I was between 7-10 weeks and I had a D&C done.
After the D&C, I waited for one period and went back to the doctor for some tests. Then, 25 days or so later I was to expect my next period and was supposed to go for more tests. Well, I didn't get my 2nd period, and I am now 18 weeks happily pregnant.

Thank you Ladies so much. DH and I will begin trying in Aug. ( we had Luck the very 1st month we Began TTC. So hopefully it will happen again!

I had a natural MC at 5 weeks March 6th, AF returned April 10, I got pregnant with Jeremy on April 24th.

I had a m/c in October of 05 and was also about 5 weeks pregnant...a little over....no D&C and waited until January to start trying again. Got pregnant in March..now 20 weeks preggo...Good luck to you

I had a m/c at 8 weeks in late march. We got pg before AF even showed. I'm almost 14 weeks now!

I had a D&C at week 9

that was last August - I got pregnant 3 months later (after two cycles)

I had my MC in Feb. I had a natural miscarriage. I didn't want to try again until July and got pregnant that month

I had a D&C at 13 weeks last September '05. Got my first AF about 7 weeks later.

We didn't start TTC until November '05 and luckily got PG again this past January '06 (I am currently close to 26 weeks along in this pregnancy)

I had the same exact thing you did. Found out I was PG 9/11/05, m/c starting 9/14/05, bled until 10/18. Got AF 10/21. Started trying after that AF on 10/21 so just 1 period. My Dr told me 1 cycle was fine. I also had methotrexate which gets rid of any abnormal cells in your body because my HCG wasn't going down(it wasn't going up, but wasn't going down) Good luck and

I was 68 weeks PG when I m/c. They did a D&C. I got my AF exactly 1 month after the D&C, and had to wait 2 cycles before I got PG again

So sorry for your loss

I m/c'd at 5w4d's, naturally, no D&C needed on July 20th. We started trying immediately after I stopped bleeding. We both were emotionally ready to start and if my body was physically ready I would conceive. AND I DID! AND was scared out of my mind! Dr assured me the waiting period was more for emotional healing than physical.

My baby girl was born May 2nd :) conceived around August 13th. (I was charting)

I had a D&C at 19 weeks (multiple problems with the pregnancy) and was told to wait atleast 1 cycle before TTC again. That was in the beginning of June. We decided till sept. when we're in Italy.
Why be PG before italy and have to worry about spotting in a foreign country.
That would mean that I went through about 2 cycles.

M/C in March by D&C. Got my period about 5 weeks later and got pregnant that cycle. It took so much longer the first time that I do believe you are more fertile after a M/C.

I had a M/C in November and we started trying again in December. I had only been 5 weeks along and it was a natural M/C. I got pregnant again in January.

I m/c'd at 6 weeks. Bled for a couple of days (naturally). I was told to wait 2-3 months but unbeknownst to either myself or my doctor, while he was telling me that, I was actually already pregnant again. I conceived one week after my m/c, and now I have the chubbiest little baby girl there ever was
