Bacterial Vaginosis & fertility
So I had a routine gyno exam today. I mentioned that I felt a little "irritated" down there and sure enough this ichy disease is back (had it a year ago and took a while to clear up). I told him that I was actively trying to get pregnant and he didn't seem at all concerned about this being an issue. I am just curious if anyone knows or has any issues like this and if it affects fertility. I googled (the devil) and of course didn't like what I read.

how do you know that it is Bacterial Vaginosis ? and not yeast infection, for example??
i am asking b/c i have some weird going on there.
is it itching? any discharge?

That's what the doctor told me...but it will be confirmed with a lab test. I have no discharge that I can see...but he said I had some (I guess when he went in there) and a little itching, but I just feel irritated. When I had it a year ago, I had no symptoms at all.
