My SO is going for a SA on Friday
He went to the doctor last week for an examine and prescription for a SA. The doctor said that his "junk" lol looks good, but that we have to see what the SA results are.
The thing is that he does not want to do the "deposit" at the lab. He wants to do it home and bring it there himself. After I made a zillion phone calls, I found a place that he can bring it, but it's like 20 min away. I'm so afraid that with the cold and the drive that the swimmers might not make it in time. It would be so much easier if he would do it at a place..oh well.
Send us some prayers that everything goes well and everything is ok. We're going on month 9 of TTC next week.

tell him to put the cup either inside his coat or between his legs to keep it warm on the ride there.....it should be OK....

Thanks I was going to tell him to this. He has heated seats in his car too

As long as he keeps it warm on the drive over there (either in his armpit, tucked between his legs, in a jacket pocket.. somewhere close to his body) then it should be ok for a 20 min drive. The sample is supposed to be dropped off within an hour of producing it in order for it to still be good

My last RE had us wrap it in tinfoil and then put in between our body and clothing to keep it warm. For every IUI and SA my husband brought it from home. He only did it in the office for our IVF.
