what type of outfit did everyone
bring home their newborn in? there are so many cute outfits in the baby's closet but im assuming you bring home the baby in a onsie or something? what exactly does it mean when every one says pack a going home outfit?

Emma wore a pink and white onesie, booties and hat, Jeremy wore a blue pajama type onesie with a hat.

I had Hailey in a light one piece outfit and a hat. It was warm but I figured we had the a/c on in the car and in the house.

I dressed my little girl up a little. I couldnt resist. She worse a light pink 2 piece outfit - cotton pants and ruffly shirt.

lol..thats cute..that is one type of outfit i already have in my suitcase for hospital..its a little white dress with flowers..then i wasnt sure what i should do.. hmmmmmmmmmm

I didn't know if I was having a boy or a girl so I packed an outfit that was yellow/green with frogs for her to wear. It had pants, long-sleeved shirt, bib and a hat.
This is her on the day we took her home. I can't believe how tiny she was!!!

I brought my daughter home in an outfite. Onesie, pants, sweater, hat and socks (I had shoes but they were too big).

We brought her home in a newborn sized one piece PJ type outfit that had mittens built in for her hands and we used a hand made knitted cab, sweater and matching booties. Image Attachment(s):

I had a gorgeous little french outfit, but I was so hyped up to get out of the hospital after 5 days in, I just brought him home in a sleepsuit.

Not a great pic.....Nate wore a 3-pc outfit that came with a onsie, jumper and jacket. I got it at Baby Depot for like $15.
ETA: Don't forget an outfit for the hospital picture.

My MIL had this thing where the baby had to come home in all white ( Not sure if this is an Italian thing or my MIL thing) so to shut her up we put him in a white footed PJ with White hat, and wrapped in a white blanket.
Since I don't want to know what I am having the next time around I will probably do the same.

He was born in November, so we put this on him. Also, I left the onesie the hospital had him in underneath.

We didn't know the sex, so we picked out a unisex outfit which was a onesie and matching pants and hat. When she was born, my mom insisted that she come home in pink, so bought this outfit for her. Here she is on her first day home...
BTW, we came home 9/11 and it was so warm that she didn't wear a hat or blanket...only a light sweater (see it laying on the table there)...

We don't know the sex so I bought a boy outfit- tee shirt, tan linen overalls & hat & a girl outfit- pink cotton dress & bloomers (or whatever those things are called that go over diapers!) & a hat. Both in newborn size. I have so many unisex onesies, I really wanted to dress the baby up for that day!
