Walking around like a cowboy
had my first full session with my personal trainer, and I'm walking around like a cowboy. I kid you not - I can't bend my knees and going down the stairs is a nightmare.
help me please.

I knew exactly what this post would be about! Definitely been there before. It will get better, and the more you work out the less sore you'll be afterwards! You can take some advil and stretch a bit every few hours.

I knew what this post was about too before I read it lol. I've definatly been there! After Saturday's hour session with the best trainer at my gym I was walking like that.
Honestly, dont let you muscles get too tight by sitting too long- walk it out (as much as it hurts). Get on the treadmill and walk at a slow pace!!

LOL - happy to hear everyone goes through it every once in a while.
Happier to know that it'll go away.
I have been walking around as much as possible so that it doesn't "feel" worse later.
Thanks for the encouragement ladies!

Re: Walking around like a cowboy
was it the squats? it took me almost 5 days to fully recover. i walked up and down the stairs on my side facing the banister... i looked ridiculous but felt so much better the next few workouts.

That's a good thing. It means you did something right! It will hurt for a few days. Stretch as much as you can and keep working the muscles. I also find warm baths help sometimes.
