A week later, my purse still smells beachy from Punta Cana! Any ideas on how to get rid of the smell?

It's not a bad smell, just odd. I just had the bag in the room the whole time, and yet it smells so strongly of saltwater. Any ideas on how to air it out? It is leather.

I cant help with the smell other than possibly Febreezing it, but I just have to ask:

Try putting it in the freezer for a day. I was told to do this w/clothing that is dry clean only but doesn't really need to be cleaned, just refreshed.

Try putting fabric softener sheets in there for a day or two.
