OMG This was delicious!
So I had turkey cutlets to make for dinner tonight and wasn't sure what to do with them. I did some searching online and found this recipe for pork cutlets. I just substituted the turkey instead and served it with sweet potatoes and salad.
Honey-Pecan Turkey Cutlets
INGREDIENTS
4 serving(s) Turkey cutlets 4 Tbsp all-purpose flour 1 Tbsp Light Soft Margarine ¼ cup(s) honey ¼ cup(s) chopped pecans ½ tsp table salt ¼ tsp black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Cooking Directions Season flour with salt and pepper; dust surfaces of turkey with seasoned flour. Melt butter in large heavy skillet over medium-high heat; brown cutlets on one side, turn; stir together honey and pecans and add to skillet, stir gently. Cover and simmer for 7-8 minutes. Serve cutlets with sauce from skillet.
Serves 4
These sauteed turkey cutlets melt in the mouth when glazed with honey and butter and graced with pecans. These are great served with mashed or baked sweet potatoes and a tart cabbage slaw.
