When should I put the potatos in the crockpot?
I am making beef stew in the crock and I forgot to put the potatos in. I'm cooking on high. How many minutes till done should I put them in there for. I know once I lift the lid all my heat escapes so I thought putting them in at the end would be better. I just dont know how long they take to cook

i put them in with all the other ingredients. ive never had them come out mushy

I wasnt concerned about them being mushy, I just forgot  Now I dont know if I should open the crockpot and throw them in (have about 3 hours left on high) or wait until its closer to the time its over. I guess my question that I was asking (in my non-concise, cryptic way) is whats the latest I can put them in so they are done when my meal is done (on high in three hours).
