My morning (long but amusing)
DH leaves for work at 7:15 and I'm laying in bed and I hear the garbage truck down the block. I really wanted to make sure the garbage went out since we had so much (just moved) and we weren't sure when they were coming b/c of the holiday. So I run out of the house in my pj's and pull the cans to the front of the house and managed to lock myself out (apparently the door locks automatically!!).
So here I am 7:30 in the morning, in my pj's, didn't pee or brush my teeth yet stuck in the pouring rain - no phone, car or keys! I was hoping to see someone leaving their house for work and ask to use the phone to call a locksmith since DH was already on the train, but nobody!!
Thankfully I briefly met the girl across the street last week - she's a year younger than me with 2 little kids (6 weeks and 2 year old) so I prayed she was up when I rang her bell. She was, and I had to ask to use her phone and potty and to entertain me until 9am when the locksmith opened the shop (yes, in my pj's!!!) How embarrassing!!!!! I was mortified! Thankfully she was really really nice! It cost me $50!!! What a morning huh? Must be the preggo brain!!!!

What a crazy frustrating morning!
Before I got preggo I locked my keys in my running car in the driveway- and locked myself out of the house.  My neighbor lent me $40 so I could call a cab to go to my inlaws to get their copy of our house key. Thanks goodness she was home! Of course, I was out $40 and was an hour late for work. 
I'm sure I'll do something even more embarrasing with preggo brain!

Oh no, I just saw this post!!
You had some morning Jodi - I have to laugh, only because I know how scatterbrained i feel lately being preggo - I'm just glad you had a nice neighbor to help you out!!

FUnny part is the first time I met her was when she came by to introduce herself and family and I was in my pj's then too. She must think I don't own any clothes
