would you bring the baby

we have a wedding in vermont in a few weeks my Dh is in the wedding party and we are staying over the night before and that night. The wedding is outside from 4to about 9: 30. The couple has already said it would be no problem and infact there is a playground near the reception site. I want to bring him because I know that Im too nervous to leave that long- the longest I have ever left him was about 5 hours so far,my only hesitation is that he usually goes to bed around 830 so he might be cranky during the reception and I probably wont go to the ceremony depending on how he is that day. my only other alternative is to leave him with my inlaws, which are good with him but since Bryan wont sleep in his crib at all, they would have to sleep in bed with him- Im not sure how I feel about that, what would you do?

We have a wedding in Jersey in a few weeks...DH is in the wedding party and we also have a rehearsal dinner on Friday night. My dad will be baby-sitting from Fri afternon until Sunday morning...I was upset at first, but my Dad is soooooo excited to get the one on one time with her...I guess I have to start getting used to it...

Your in laws would probably love the time with him...go and enjoy the time with your DH, you probably don't get much alone time anymore

How about taking someone with you to act as a babysitter? That way you can still enjoy yourself & he will be right there

Re: would you bring the baby

I would not take an infant to the ceremony..I would hate for my baby to cry during someone's ceremony.
Personally I did not want Molly at the wedding we went to when she was 10 months old. I left her with my parents. It was hard I admit. But I felt (JMO) it was unfair for her and us. We got a nice evening out..and she was not kept up late with loud music. It worked out really nicely to be honest.
