Paninis
We have a panini pan (It's basically a grill with a hard metal top you use to press down on the sandwich...). We have never used it to make paninis and now DH is asking for it. I have never made a panini and have no panini recipes. Please post your favorite panini recipes or links I could use. Thanks in advance.

Re: Paninis
I'll slice some sourdough, butter the out sides, spread pesto on the insides, add sliced tomatoes, grilled chicken and fresh mozz. then grill.
For myself, I'll swap out the chicken and add grilled vegetables.

Re: Paninis
Another thought I had! DH and I used to go to the sandwich place called Press and we took a take out menu. We get ideas from that, too.

Re: Paninis
i personally think you can make any sandwich into a panini... meat, cheese, dressing... put your favorites together! its really just like a smooshed grilled cheese with fun stuff in it... same concept!!! haha!!!!
i like: Chicken, mozz, basis, roasted peppers
DH likes: turkey, cheese, honey mustard

Re: Paninis
I'm drooling at the thought of chicken, mozzarella, roasted red peppers, and balsamic!
How about a BLT?
One more idea, in Key West I remember having these cuban pressed sandwhiches for breakfast. You could do ham, egg, and cheese.

Because of YOU this is a huge favorite in our house! I've been using provolone though. Soo good.
My boys (big and small) are fans of sliced grilled chicken breast, Mozzarella, Sundried Tomato and Basil.
We also do a version of a french dip with thinly sliced beef, provolone and a little horseradish. You dip it in the jus after it's done! Delicious.
