Sad
I'm having a bad day today. The first week after iui I was so hopeful that it worked. But today is 11dpiui and I don't feel like it worked at all! I have no symptoms! I have AF cramps & super emotional which leads me to believe she's coming.
I feel like everyone around me is pregnant & while I am happy for them I get so sad for DH & I.
I just feel so down. I go on Wednesday for a beta test. I just don't want to get that call saying "we're sorry...." I just had to vent, thanks for listening..

Re: Sad
I'm sorry. It's such a roller-coaster, isn't it? New hope every time you start a new cycle, and right after the IUI, then that sad feeling when you get a BFN or negative beta. Remember, you're not out yet. I found during my first IUI that it really helped for me to have tested first, so that when Dr. B called me and told me my beta was negative, I was prepared.
I'm feeling similar to you right now. I have no real PG symptoms, so I'm thinking it didn't work, but then I keep reminding myself that there are plenty of people who have no PG symptoms for the first few weeks, or even throughout their pregnancy. It's so hard not to analyze every little thing your body does (or doesn't) do.
Hang in there. I'll be right there with you getting my beta on Wednesday, so I hope it's a good day for both of us.

Re: Sad
Hang in there. I know the sadness and disappointment are terrible each BFN. You're allowed to feel however you want at this point. If it's negative and you get AF, you get to start again right away.
It's still a bit too early and you never know!
to both of you!!

I'm sorry. I know how tough it is. That's why I always POAS before beta. It helps me to brace before the call so I don't completely lose it at work.

Re: Sad
That's what we're here for- vent away I'm sorry you're going through this. I've had that same roller coaster of feelings. Right after the IUI, I always think it works and then the 2nd week I lose hope. I think it's our defense mechanisms.
