so mad right now..would you be?just venting..kinda long
am i overeacting? ok..tonight my "DH" decides to go out with the boys tonight..his brother and cousin..no biggie right..YEA RIGHT..im a little nervous for a few reasons..for 1, my due date was yesterday so i could go at any time..so if he decides to drink more than like 3 beers, and i go into labor,..i will be mortified having him in the delivery room with me..PLUS this is my first baby and i need him to be 100% there for me..also he is driving..he said he would call me if he needed a ride but if he doesnt? and gets pulled over on a night like this? he has to have his pg wife of 91/2 months bail his a$$ out of jail? idont think so..im FUMING RIGHT NOW..also my bil has his wife at home pg with twins..we are going to watch a movie and eat ice cream together but im FURIOUS..at of ALL the time he had during my pregnancy he picks now? im so upset..i know im not going into labor tonight but it is the point.WHATEVER..sorry i needed to vent..thanks!!

since you asked, no, I would not be mad. I'd be happy that he has the night out now, since he won't be able to for awhile after the baby comes.
I understand you want him to be there for you 100% - and thats reasonabe at this point. But it sounds like you're in good hands with your SIL. You've escalated it in your head, from a few drinks to him being arrested for drunk driving.
Enjoy your night and don't worry about it

OMG- you have every right to be upset. I about fell off my chair when I read your story-
The legend in my family has it......
when my mom was PG with my sister, she walked around at EIGHT CENTIMETERS for almost 2 weeks before she delivered!! Luckily, they only lived like 5 miles from the hospital. But the doctor made my mom promise she would get to the hospital IMMEDIATELY if she felt anything going on down there. On the day my mom went into labor, my dad had left her to go play softball!!!!!
Needless to say, 31 years later, it is still my mom's trump card when they disagree.
 to you and your SIL. Try to enjoy your night with her....

Movie and ice cream with another preggo sounds great! Try not to worry about him driving, I worry about the same thing.

Honestly, I don't think I would be mad. I would see it as possibly his last chance to do this for awhile. As long as he's responsible, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Plus, you have something fun to do, so just go and enjoy yourself! It may be one of your last nights alone.

No, I would NOT be mad. For a couple of reasons,
1. this could be a stress reliever for him
2. Once the baby comes forget about going out anytime soon
3. Men handle things differently than we do
4. Who knows he may not be drinking and just talking about how he cant wait to be a daddy any day now!

well you are right..i did overeact..there has been family members of mine who have gotten dwi's and im just worried about that.i have already come to grips with the fact im not delivering anytime soon. so i was more worried about picking him up in a courtroom..because lord knows i have been thru that ..but i didnt let him know i was fuming..i told him NO MATTER WHAT..call me..!!! he is taking me up on the offer..he didnt want to bother me but i told him im totally fine and capable to pick him up..THANKS TO ALL YOU LADIES FOR LETTING ME VENT...HORMONES

um, I would be and was mad at DH for pulling this when I was 36 weeks PG, and you are overdue...he seriously should **** it up and be home for you right now because you could go at anytime...I didn't want him in L&D with me stinking of alcohol...it didn't matter if I had an on call driver ready to drive me if I went into labor, it was the principle of the matter. He should be at home with me, rubbing my feet or something!
besides the fact that I felt fat and PG and wanted to be out too!
JMO, wanted to give you a BTDT opinion, guys just don't get it!

I truly can't say how I'd feel. Part of me understands that it may be the last time he gets to go out, and the other part of me totally feels that he should be coherent/sober should I go into labor. I would just try to have fun watching movies and eating ice cream!!!
