Analyze my follie check, please

Today is cd8 and I went for a follie check for my injectable iui cycle. This is my 7th iui and will be the last before moving onto IVF. I am really hoping and praying to get my take home baby from this iui.

So, my dr. saw 3 good follies on my left side (all over 17). He said my right side has anywhere from 2-4 but they are smaller. From what I could tell it looked like 2 were maybe around 14, 1 was 11, and 1 was 10.

He's thinking most likely I will trigger Fri. night and have b2b iuis Sat. & Sun. (cd 11&12). I'm going Fri. morning for another follie check and he'll let me know then.

What do you girls think? Can all 3 release from only one side? I think this is the first time I had one side respond so much better than the other. I am still on the Gonal F till Fri. so I realize some of my right follies may catch up a little. Just wondering your thoughts.

all of your mature follicles will release.

Could be 3, could be more but only the mature ones (over 18 or so will)

Keep in mind that there is not always an egg in each follicle.

i always got better response on one side over the other (and it went back and forth between sides). your 3 on the left should release and i think the 14 on your right has time to catch up. 3-4 is a great number! good luck!!!

Thanks girls! You always make feel better. Ugghh..I hate this. I hope this is the last cycle I ever have to do!!
