when is time for the dr.. to put me on something else?

Last month I had 3 big follies...

Re: Question

i think usually an RE would try 3 months on a same protocol. If it does not work, then you should move on. Chat Icon

Re: Question

When I did IUIs my RE changed my meds for the third one (I did have a chemical the first IUI). But, I only ever did injectibles.

ETA: After the third try my RE did comment that my ovaries could be getting tired. The most I ever had was two follicles and I am a poor responder.

Re: Question

every cycle is different so you may have different reactions each cycle with the same amount of meds. some doctors stick with what you are comfortable with unless theres a reason to change, and obviously you respond well to clomid so im sure the doctor is in no rush to move you to something more risky, more expensive, and more time consuming.
that being said if you are not confident in the treatment i would talk to your dr. about moving on.
