Clomid
I did an IU with my ob gyn in August.
Then did a round of clomid IUI in December and now January....
was just wondering how many each of you did before going to another step....

I had 5 rounds of Clomid, 3 IUI's. Then we moved on to Femara/Gonal-F and just started week 2 in the 2ww!!

ETA: I really regret having wasted the 1st 3 cycles on Clomid with my OB. I was never moniotred and took it upon myself to see an RE. As soon as we met with our RE, an IUI was immediately scheduled. Best decision we ever made.

i did get pregnant doing IUI with clomid but it turned out to be ectopic because of my bad tubes so we have moved onto IVF. i got pregnant my first clomid IUI. my doctor wouldn't let me do more than 3 rounds of clomid even though i wanted to try 1 or 2 more. they are super conservative with it.

you should add an option to the poll that says "changed meds" cause many people dont do that many rounds of clomid before moving to injectables or other meds, but not necessarily IVF.

I never used clomid. I use a combo of femara and gonal-f injects to get pregnant. That is the only way I develop follies... femara alone wasn't enough for me.
This has always been my protocol.
I got pregnant last spring on my 3rd IUI cycle.

I never tried Clomid. I had one IUI with Femara (which is similar to Clomid), and 2 IUIs with injectables. My doctor advised that I give the IUI at least 3 shots before moving on to IVF and that's what I did. He also told me that I could just keep on trying with IUIs, it's just that IVF increases your chances by so much more with every cycle. But then again, I'm still not pregnant  so I'll be moving on to my second IVF cycle soon

I did 5 rounds of Clomid total
2 with timed 
3 with IUIs
After the 3rd failed IUI I moved onto IVF

Thanks so much for the replies ladies, today was my first day back at work, and as you can see my brain is still not functioning properly, I did a really poor job creating this poll, lol ...but you ladies got the gist, it does help me with anu future decisions should I need to do something again later this month....
