are you more more fertile during breastfeeding?
I thought i heard you were much more fertile during bfing but you also dont get your pewriod during bfing right ? so how can that be?

As far as I know you are not more fertile. Its supposed to be your body's way of saying you aren't ready for another baby but it's definitely not birth control.

Supposedly you do not ovulate while you are bf. However, if too much time lapses in between bf and egg can slide by hence why people do get pg while bf.

I know a couple of people who became pregnant while breast feeding, so if you're BFing and you're not ready for #2, then I would use some form of birth control.

My SIL got pregnant with her DD when her DS was 4 months old. She thought BFing would protect her. Guess not!

My MOH got pregnant with her second while bf-ing. Her 1st was only 5mos old when she got pregnant

You can get pregnant while BF but it is rare. There is a special form of BCP for BF moms. It is the "mini-pill" and doesn't contain estrogen.
