Egg question
I know this is silly, but do you throw eggs out on the "best by" date?

Re: Egg question
Nope....embarassing but I never even look at the best by date. I have never had a bad egg...ever! And I know there were times when they were WAY past the date.

Re: Egg question
I keep the "Best by" date in mind, but I usually have them at least a week or 2 longer than that. If I only have 1 or 2 left, I might chuck them and get a fresh batch.
I ALWAYS look at the date when I'm buying them though.

Re: Egg question
Haha..it's so silly but I've always been an Egg Beaters type gal but recently started buying a dozen eggs, but don't use them that often!

Re: Egg question
No. I read somewhere that it is safe to use them for up to two weeks past the "best by" date.

Yep. Same here. I look at the expiration date when I buy them but I usually still use then a week or two past their expiration date.
