Baked ziti spinoff.

Has anyone ever made baked ziti with a sauce other than marinara sauce or a red sauce?

DH loves vodka sauce and we have a jar of vicents. Do you think I could maked baked rigatoni ala vodka following a baked ziti recipe (with ricotta and mozzarella)? Or would that be weird?

I do it all the time with vodka sauce! And if I don't make my own, I use Vincents! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Definitely make the substitution!

When I make baked ravioli, I add 1/3 to 1/2 a tub of mascarpone to my marinara and it makes it so delicious and creamy!
