Listen to Dr. vs. your instinct
How much does everyone listen to what their Dr. says and goes by it vs. what their instinct says and advise they have received from other mothers?

Depends on the subject. If its parenting/behavior advice, such as how to manage sleep or tantrum I trust instinct. If its a physical issue including nutrition, I listen to my doctor. If you don't trust your doctor on physical issues, it may be time to find a new doctor.

i've trusted my doctor with everything so far, but if there was something that i didn't think i agreed with i would probably question them about it

I trust my instinct mostly because I don't have a pediatrician. I get most of my info from talking to other mothers that I know and trying things out. We only get to see peds if we have to go to hospital visits, so its a referral system.
