My 1st Italian Christmas Eve Dinner
We had a semi traditional 7 fishes italian dinner at a friends house. She says its usually more courses but we had 2.
Mixed seafood salad, mussels in a red wine sauce, fried calamari, Parmesan crusted talapia, linguine in homemade clam sauce, baked ziti (I'm missing a bunch of things).
In my family we're not accustomed to having different courses, everything is just laid out on the table. Our typical christmas dinner always involves a pernil (pork shoulder), rice and beans and other yummy spanish food. Anyway, I must say that I truly enjoyed the italian meal and hope to incorporate this tradition into my home. I'll be asking you italian ladies for some pointers next year
